Sunliner Prove They Are Above Average with “Average At Best”

Maybe it’s because they come from Leeds, home of half of the world-famous Reading and Leeds festivals.

Maybe it’s because this isn’t their first rodeo – the band was previously known as Jake & The Jellyfish.

Either way, one thing’s for sure: “Average At Best” certainly isn’t average.

The song has a nice blend of folk punk with slightly heavier guitars – think of Dropkick Murphys meet Frank Turner, sans bagpipes. That’s Sunliner.

The Dirty Nil are Done With Drugs

Canadian rock trio The Dirty Nil have ditched drugs – and hope that the drugs are done with them, too.

While most artists are unable to work on new music together at the moment (thanks COVID…), The Dirty Nil have an advantage: the trio live together.

That means they can forge ahead with writing and recording new music, getting ready for the release of their third full-length album.

Listen to the song below and stay up to date on the band’s Facebook and Instagram. You can also find them on your streaming platform of choice!

Torrential Rain Stay Safe With “Home Alone”

In a time when everyone is staying home to survive a global pandemic, Torrential Rain is doing so. Their song “Home Alone” doesn’t deal with the pandemic, though – it seems to focus more on loneliness and isolation pre-pandemic.

We can only imagine that with forced isolation, the lyrics to this song apply to many more people now than they would have under normal circumstances.

So, if you’re stuck at home, you may as well check out this killer song by Torrential Rain!

You can follow the band on Facebook and Instagram, and listen to “Home Alone” on Spotify.
