Swedish rock group inOcean are at it again – blending mid-00s rock and emo with their own modern twist, the band have released an undeniably energetic track in the form of “Denial”.
Compared to some of the bands influences like Refused, The Used, and Every Time I Die it’s clear – this band has a sound they want to achieve, and that’s what they’ve done here.

Maybe it’s because they come from Leeds, home of half of the world-famous Reading and Leeds festivals.
Maybe it’s because this isn’t their first rodeo – the band was previously known as Jake & The Jellyfish.

While most artists are unable to work on new music together at the moment (thanks COVID…), The Dirty Nil have an advantage: the trio live together.

Not only does the band have a massive sound, their song “Monsters” features amazing dynamics that push the song forward, building to the last chorus.

In a time when everyone is staying home to survive a global pandemic, Torrential Rain is doing so. Their song “Home Alone” doesn’t deal with the pandemic, though – it seems to focus more on loneliness and isolation pre-pandemic.
We can only imagine that with forced isolation, the lyrics to this song apply to many more people now than they would have under normal circumstances.
