American rock band My Chemical Romance have announced they’re reuniting for a comeback show in Los Angeles in December, extending this to a small tour consisting of dates in Australia, New Zealand and Japan a week later.
The band – Led by Gerard Way and formed in 2001 – is best-known for hits including “Welcome To The Black Parade” and “Teenagers“.

Fortarock won’t return in 2020
FortaRock – a Dutch metal festival where Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Nightwish and so many more bands have appeared in recent years – has confirmed that it will not return in 2020.
In a post to Facebook, the organization announced that a 2020 edition was not on the cards. However, the overall wording of the announcement has alluded to the festival not returning at all.

Hero The Band have released a new song called, “Trouble In My Mind“.
They’re an alternative band from Atlanta and they’re all brothers! The one thing that stands out the most in this song is the energy. The vocals and the music are very upbeat and in ways remind me of Neon Trees.
New-school grunge fans, heads up! One man band Black Tiger Bay has released the debut single, “Clarity“.
Self produced by Cole Hooey, “Clarity” is the first single off of his upcoming album January Fire, to be released in early 2020. Keep your eyes open for this one, especially if you’re a fan of the new-era of grunge.
Based in Cleveland, OH, As Time Fades are a pop punk band who successfully combines the key elements of the genre with their own unique sound.

San Diego based alt. rock band Nights Like Thieves recently released a new lyric video for their song “Alright“. The song brings me back to the mid 2000s, showing that the music we all grew up listening to is by no means dead and gone!
