Here’s a rad band you should check out! They’re called Venatici, an alternative band from Manchester. This is their new single, “Who I’ll Be”.

Model Depose – Damage Control
If you’ve followed RMP for any length of time, you know that we’re big fans of the Dutch band Model Depose. “Damage Control” is the newest single from their upcoming album of the same name, slated to be released this September.
In the song, the band revisits their signature blend of indie and electronic, with a decidedly 80s vibe to it. Though many aspects of the song remind the listener of the band’s previous work, there are hints of new creative exploration as well. Overall, this is a great track and I am anticipating the album with bated breath.
CIVILIANA – Carry a Light
CIVILIANA is not the first music project of friends Calen Trentini (drums/lead vocals), Adam Wilson (guitar/vocals), and Spencer Daley (bass/guitar/keys. In fact, the band played as a trio in highschool.
After several years apart, and a move from the relatively small city of Kelowna, BC, to Vancouver, the band reconnected. In 2015, CIVILIANA was formed. The next year, the band added Daniel Ponich on guitar, as well as keys and percussion, to round out the sound of what was now a quartet.
“Carry a Light” is one of three singles the band is releasing in 2019, and it really strikes me in a unique way. The song draws on many standard indie sounds, but features enough originality to make it exciting.
It reminds me of several of my favorite artists, including Silversun Pickups, Atlas Genius, and Civil Twilight, which might be part of why I like it so much.
Blind Channel – Timebomb
If you’ve been an RMP reader for a while, you might remember our old feature Triple Tuesdays. We originally shared Blind Channel‘s song “Alone Against All” on Triple Tuesdays back in 2017. The Finnish band have just released a new single, “Timebomb” featuring EDM producer Alex Mattson to blend pop and metalcore.
Here’s “Alone Against All” in case you need a refresher:
All New Hopes – Dead To Me
All New Hopes is an alternative band from Mesa, Arizona! This is “Dead To Me” off of their new EP, which is also called “Dead To Me”. What I love most about this song is their upbeat energy through out the music! It’s fast and punchy!
HAVVK – If I Don’t Tell You
HAVVK is at it again! They have released their third single “If I Don’t Tell You” off of their upcoming album Cause & Effect. Personally speaking, this is the best single released off of this album so far! The album doesn’t come out until November 22, 2019 so we’ll have to be patient. For new listeners, HAVVK is an alternative band from London. To learn more about HAVVK, you can check out their Facebook page!
PUP – Free At Last
Canadian punks PUP are building up to the release of their new album, Morbid Stuff in quite an interesting way. Prior to the release of the second single on the album, “Free At Last”, the band posted the chords and lyrics online and asked fans to cover the song without having ever heard it before.
253 different versions of the song were submitted, and PUP mashed them up into one hilariously amazing video. Skip to 1:25 if you want to get straight to the PUP version of the song, otherwise enjoy the various takes other people had on it!
Morbid Stuff drops on April 5th, and you can pre-order/pre-save it now. Please also follow the band on Facebook!
DAMN NATION – Apocalypse
You might have heard of the active rock band, It Lives, It Breathes, in the last six years or so. You probably won’t be hearing much more of them, though; the band recently announced a new name, DAMN NATION, and dropped their first single, “Apocalypse“. The anthemic song ushers in a new era for the East-Coast based quartet, and I’m looking forward to hearing more. I hope you enjoy the song as much as I have!
Model Depose – Bombs Are Falling
RMP favorites Model Depose are back! Their new song Bombs Are Falling dropped last month, and we’re pleased to be able to share the video with you.
The band takes a bit of a departure from their big, lush sound with thick vocals to a dryer, more Placebo-like sound. That being said, they still keep the same roots in their sound, and I think any Model Depose fan will appreciate the fresh sound!
Kissing The Klepto is a rad Pop-punk band from Delco! They have a new song called “Northern Philadelphia“. I love everything about this because it has that classic Pop-punk sound that you can’t turn away from.
