The Ghost Inside perform “Mercy” live at the Shrine Auditorium

It has been five years since the American Metalcore band The Ghost Inside were involved in a tragic bus crash that killed two people and left several band members with life-changing injuries. The group have now marked the fifth anniversary of what they call their ‘re-birthday” by releasing a live video of “Mercy.”

In TGI world, we have come to call November 19 our re-birthday. Today we celebrate by sharing a live music video of “Mercy” from our show this summer in Los Angeles. We want to honor the drivers Greg and Stephen that lost their lives, and say thank you to all of our loved ones for their unconditional support. To every single person that supports this band in any way, there are really no words to describe how you make us feel. Every kind word, donation, tattoo, comment, or even just a listen to a song, has carried us from the lowest moment of our lives through to today. We owe you a debt that can never be repaid, but we will try our best to make you proud. Together, all of us, we are limitless and unbreakable. See you in 2020.

Soccer Mommy premiers “Yellow is the color of her eyes”

Soccer Mommy, aka singer-songwriter Sophie Allison, has shared a new video for the song, “yellow is the color of her eyes.”

“‘yellow is the color of her eyes’ is a song that is really important to me. The song was inspired by a time when I was on the road constantly and I felt like I was losing time—specifically with my mother. It’s also a song that I feel really showcases my writing when it comes to instrumentation, so it’s one that makes me really proud.“

Mötley Crüe is back!

Motley Crue have officially confirmed that they are reuniting after playing what was intended to be their final show on New Year’s Eve in 2015.

Almost 6 years after signing a Cessation of Touring agreement, the contract is off the table because a whole new generation of Crüeheads are relentlessly demanding for the band to come back together. Following the huge success of their NETFLIX biopic THE DIRT, Mötley Crüe has seen a massive surge in new audience. And the band best known for breaking the rules has destroyed their cessation of touring contract in true Mötley Crüe-fashion, by literally blowing it up.

After 35 years together on stage, and 30 years since the release of Dr. Feelgood, the members of Mötley Crüe parted ways without speaking to each other after their Final Show on December 31, 2015.

Vince, Nikki, Mick and Tommy didn’t come together again until 2018 to participate in the making of THE DIRT movie, which unexpectedly brought them closer together again including seeing them head back into the recording studio after having gone in their own directions for several years. The fuse was lit.

“Since playing Tommy Lee in The Dirt, so many of my fans have said how they wish they could’ve seen the real Mötley Crüe play live,” said Colson Baker (aka Machine Gun Kelly) “I never thought I would see the day when this would become a reality. But the fans spoke and Mötley Crüe listened!”

THE DIRT currently enjoys an audience score of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. And its massive global success earlier this year saw Mötley Crüe’s popularity rush to new highs, catapulting the band’s music back to the top of the worldwide charts with the younger 18-44 demographic now representing 64% of the band’s fanbase. Moreover, in the six months following the release of THE DIRT, Mötley Crüe has celebrated a meteoric rise of almost 350% increase in streams of their music across all streaming platforms. However, most of the new fans have never seen any of the legendary live shows that Crüeheads have relished for close to 4 decades.

Emarosa release new single “Ready to Love”

American alternative rockband Emarosa has released a new single “Ready to Love.

“‘Ready To Love’ is that bite that’s too hot. You know it’ll hurt, you know it’s not ready, but it takes tha pain to learn your lesson. The older you get the more self-aware you become about what you want for yourself and what you want in a partner. A lot of time can be wasted being with people out of loneliness. This song is a reflection of moving passed that and knowing what you want, knowing your worth and knowing what you are/are not ready for.”

Review: Ghost at Motorpoint Arena Cardiff

(Wales, UK) – November 17th, 2019

There was a Ghost sighting in Cardiff!

Swedish rock band Ghost made a stop at Motorpoint Arena on their current UK/EU run with metal group Tribulation , and hard rock psychadelic band All Them Witches. Cardiff may have only been the second date of The Ultimate Tour Named Death, but it surely made for a great start of the tour!

A massive church-like background, with distinct stained windows, is a well known part of any Ghost performance.
But what takes the cake for the band’s most recognizable feature is surely their eccentric on-stage presence. The band’s frontmen Tobias Forge, who currently portrays a character of ‘Cardinal Copia’, performs in a mask with typical black eye makeup and multi-coloured eyes, and is accompanied by the Nameless Ghouls disguised by horned silver face masks.

Suspense mixed with excitement. Screams of the 5.000 cap arena. Crowd filled with people wearing ghoul masks, and Cardinal Copia inpired make-up. Everything one could see (and hear) as the invisible countdown to the beginning of the show started ticking. Then all the lights went off, teasing the fans, who were inpatiently waiting for the band to come on stage. And once they did, the crowd went frantic…

Ghost’s energetic performance didn’t leave anyone simply standing around.
The may have not talked much. But the power this band had over the crowd was undoubtful. Laughter was everpresent whenever the band stoped inbetween songs to talk to the crowd. And not only they could make the whole crowd go completely silent, they just as easily managed to make them scream at the top of their lungs by a simple swing of a hand.

It’s a school night! Go home and get your beauty sleep! Oh you know we wouldn’t leave without a goodbye kiss!

All the spectacular visuals brought to the Welsh capital made sure no one left dissapointed by neither the musical, nor the visual side of the show.
Ghost’s extramely ambitious tour had everything you could imagine.
From the striking light show, on-stage visuals, and multiple costume changes, to the fire guns and confetti. Ghost had it all.
